Auston Grove Apartments June 2014 Newsletter

Pool Party

Come out Tuesday, June 17 from 6-8 pm. We are having a pool party at the clubhouse. There will be refreshments for everyone. Look forward to seeing you there!!

Fire Alarm Testing

Tuesday, June 17 to Friday, June 20, East Coast Fire Protection will be conducting fire alarm, sprinkler, backflow, and fire extinguisher testing. They will need to enter every room in each apartment for a visual sprinkler inspection.

Also, the fire alarms will be sounding off periodically throughout the day, and water may be turned off for backflow testing. All work will take place between the hours of 10am to 4pm. Thank you in advance for your patience and please don’t hesitate to call or stop by the office with any questions.

Volunteer Activities

Habitat for Humanity will be having a Build a House Program in Maybrook neighborhood of Raleigh on Thursday, June 5, and Friday, June 6. If you would like to come out and volunteer, click here. There are a few slots left so hurry!

LinkedIn Live Raleigh

LinkedIn Live Raleigh (LLR) is a social networking event helping LinkedIn members in the Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill area build new connections in the real world. Averaging 150 members per event, LLR is definitely an event you don’t want to miss!


2nd Annual NC Fresh Catch

Saturday June 7, NC Fresh Catch returns to Moore Square. There will be live music, an on-site cooking extravaganza, and local booths to shop from all day.


Kids Cooking Workshop Hands- On

Looking for something fun for your child to do for the day? There will be a cooking workshop on Monday, June 23 9:00am to 2:00pm. Suitable for children ages 7- 12, and the event covers kitchen safety, how to read recipes, measuring ingredients, and much more!


Free Up Space In Your Apartment and Rent a Storage

A Few Reminders

  • Grilling is always welcome in the community as long as your personal grill is AT LEAST 10 FEET AWAY FROM THE BUILDINGS. Failure to abide to these rules is a violation of your lease agreement and will result in a $500 fine from the City of Raleigh.
  • Pet Owners please remember to pick up after your pets and utilize the doggie bags located throughout the community. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
  • We currently have a few storages and garages available! If you have extra items in your apartment and need a place to store them, a storage or garage rental will be a great home for them. Contact the office for more information.
  • Residents are always welcome to come out to the pool area and bring guest, but there is a limit. 2 guests per apartment are welcome to come to our pool and enjoy, but please be considerate of this rule along with other individuals who may be there at that time. Also, please DO NOT bring any glass bottles out or near the pool area. Failure to comply can lead to a loss of amenity privileges. Thank you for your cooperation.
  • If you have friends or family coming in town and would like for them to stay close to you-we have the answer! We have a one bedroom/sunroom apartment home that guests of Auston Grove residents can rent for only $55 a night! The apartment comes furnished complete with everything you would find in a hotel room and even more… No need to bring sheets and towels-we even have the kitchen and dining room set up and we recently installed NEW CARPET! Please call us if you would like to book a reservation!
